Everyone can be a little manipulative from time to time, but it can be a serious challenge when it’s your default way of getting what you want. Others eventually catch on to what you’re doing, and it’s not an attractive way to live your life. It’s much more effective to learn how to ask for what you want simply and directly. Manipulating others can work in the short-term, but it’s a poor long-term strategy.

If you are like most people, you probably do a pretty good job of caring for the most important people in your life. However, you probably forget the most important person: You. Taking care of yourself is important, perhaps the most important thing you can do for yourself. We neglect ourselves in many ways. This is a critical error. It's important to take care of yourself daily by adopting these strategies.
Verbally expressing your loving, caring feelings toward your mate is one very important step to show you cherish them but also remember that there are different ways people like to show and receive love – physical touch, emotional support, spiritual bonds, giving quality time, gifts, and so on.
