Angela Hook has been a lifelong resident of Lansing, Michigan, for over fifty-six years and takes pride in her community and has served both personally and professionally to enhance the lives of children, youth, women, and families. Angela has a passion to serve women especially those that have been marginalized and experienced adverse childhood experiences. She believes that her purpose in life is to speak, teach, coach, and help others to reach their highest potential by providing cutting-edge and relevant information that will energize and transform people’s lives. Angela uses a holistic approach to help those to become the best version of themselves.
Angela has written two books on Bridging the Gap between Women and Tragedy to Triumph. Among her many other accomplishments, her greatest one is being a wife, mother, and grandmother, and has made family her focal point. Angela is a proud member of the Tabernacle of David Church under the leadership of Pastor Larry Trice Jr. and Lady Lene'a Trice and has served in multiple capacities. She is currently working with the senior ministry as an Associate Pastor.
Angela has served in the Human Services Industry for over 25 years before accepting a position at Lansing Community College as an Academic Success Coach. Angela's educational accomplishments consist of a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Management, a Master's Degree in Human Services with a Specialization in Executive Leadership, and she is currently pursuing a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling that will lead her to become an LLPC. After two years of working in her profession, her goal is to become a Licensed Professional Counselor and launch her own practice Forever Evolving Counseling Services, she is a proud member of the American Counseling Association, American Association of Christian Counselors, Counselors for Social Justice, and the American Mental Health Counselors Association.
