Originally from Indiana, Tina Luciano has lived most of her adult life in the eastern part of the U.S., having lived previously in New York and residing currently in the Washington DC metro area. Her relationship with God, the importance of family, and her cherished connections with her sister-friends are the food for her soul. Tina is a human resources and payroll professional. With a wide-ranging background in human resources, business operations, and payroll administration, she has worked at national companies and nonprofits such as Investor’s Business Daily, the Urban Land Institute, the Urban Institute, and Pew Charitable Trusts.
She is currently on the Board of Directors and is Treasurer for Sustain US, a youth-led nonprofit rooted in climate change advocacy. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, IN, with a triple minor in Philosophy, Women’s Studies, and Justice Education. Tina has a passion for supporting causes that advocate for women’s empowerment, racial justice & equity, and the environment. She hopes to pursue a Master of jurisprudence degree in labor & employment law soon.
As someone with diverse interests, she always enjoys seeing what new opportunities life has to offer. Tina is proudly left-handed, an avid foodie, a travel enthusiast, and a self-proclaimed PBS nerd. She loves people and always sees her glass as half full. With her positive attitude and a natural energy to encourage and cheer others on, she enjoys helping other women find their joy and feel optimistic about their own lives.
